After the 13th international Wheat Genetics Symposium a new era has begun. The previously separated Wheat Genetics Symposia and Wheat Conferences joined forces to establish a new series of integrated scientific meetings covering all aspects of this important crop every two years. The Wheat Initiative updates and posts further information on the upcoming International Wheat Congress events.
The First International Wheat Congress was held July 21-29, 2019 at Saskatoon, Canada was a great success with over 900 registered delegates. The Second International Wheat Congress will take place September 11 to 14, 2022 in Beijing, China and is promising to become an even bigger event. The Third International Wheat Congress will convene in Adelaide, Australia in 2024.
